It's a great holiday gift for various persons to study fast reading. This methodology assists mind to be in a convenient state during the working day and maintains a high vitality according to the small energy consumption to make any mental work. But it does not mean that a reader will have only the fast speed of reading. It transforms our perception:

- It increases the capability of election, that's important with plenty of info;

- The other thing is the understanding of read information. Due to this point we must speak about the effective reading, but not about high-speed.

First of all we must see the reasons of slack reading, there are several of them:

Lots of persons practice reproducing of the text to themselves during reading. The speed of our reading isn't quicker than we are speaking by this mean. We perceive our inner speech and ear channel bandwidth is much lower than the visual.

2. Restricted view field. We perceive the text only from one word to another following the range from left to right. Scientists claim that our eyes may be in 2 conditions - locking of eyes and changing the point of latching. The greater field of view, the more information is got at each stop and the quantity of stops is less for the similar size of text.

3. There is also such notion as regression, when we go back to the words we realize poorly or didn't understand at all. People who read slowly can get the number of regressions per 100 words of texts as high as fifty. The notice of a reader is one of the causes for regression and the text will glide on the surface of it. Such bad habits must be clamped down and the new habits must be created to reach the ability of quick reading. You must do the following:

- Do not produce the sounds of words during reading the text just with your eyes.

- You should study to read not only the separate words, but the entire sentences and paragraph that are called syntagms.
